Way back when I posted the blog objective I mentioned I'd post things that make me think. Well lately (the last dozen years) race has been on my mind in one way or another. I feel like as I grow up I begin to really see how race influences everything; and more often than not it leaves me feeling bleek. I'm trying to find a way to acknowledge it without letting it get under my skin.
My plan is to name it to tame it. I plan to seek out the actual name to these gross feelings that come with confronting racism. And make the world a little more bright for me.
